Communications Director
The Communication Director’s primary role is to help build a more substantial presence for HIG, leading to increased awareness of the firm with ideal prospects, additional influence for Matt Hall (leader and spokesperson), and ultimately generating new leads. We seek a candidate with marketing, branding, social media, and public relations experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement an annual marketing calendar with content and event ideas that include social media, blog, newsletter, potential PR opportunities, client events, sales events, community events, sponsorships, ads, podcasts, etc.
- Develop and update metrics report (Google analytics metrics, Newsletter drip metrics, Leads associated with a campaign, lead tracking, and conversion)
- Maintain social media accounts including creating posts, content, comments
- Coordinate and manage monthly newsletter copy, design, setup, and publication
- Manage outsourced services including website update, graphic design, SEO strategy etc.
- Research and collect data on ideal client profile
- Plan, prepare, and run weekly internal marketing meeting
- Create and update the marketing/sales costs vs. revenue growth ratio
- Develop local and national press opportunities
- Contribute creative ideas for new content opportunities
- Optimize content according to SEO strategy
- In-person and virtual event planning, coordination, and execution
COMPENSATION
- Salary TBD based on experience and expertise
- Annual raise 3-15% and based on skill development and mastery
- Discretionary bonus based on outsized contributions

Retirement Plan Lead
The Director leads Hill Investment Group’s Retirement Plan and Institutional offerings. The role requires a unique combination of technical and entrepreneurial skills. The ideal candidate will build and manage relationships, resources, and extend the reach of the Hill Investment Group mission.

- Develop and maintain high-quality relationships with existing institutional, 401k clients
- Develop new retirement plan and institutional relationships
- Shepherd new clients through the onboarding process
- Develop associated institutional-specific materials, and ongoing communication strategy
- Maintain high-quality service with cost-effective management of resources
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in the retirement plan business
- Well-developed presentation, sales, and networking skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- A team player with strong coaching and leadership skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Spending time in each functional area including:
- Client service: Investment management and financial planning strategies, support the team in delivering proactive client service
- Operations: Organizing and executing greater automation of the client experience, firm policy, compliance, IT, HR, finance
- Marketing: getting people interested in who we are and what we do
- Business Development: guide prospects from interested to taking the long view
